TEACHING

Journalism TEACHER

In my role as a Journalism Teacher I was responsible for more than just teaching journalism, yearbook, newspaper, photography and web design. I  advocated for yearbook and newspaper both locally and at the state level.  The job encompassed everything from writing and photographing to fixing technology to technology training all while raising 50,000 dollars per year to fund the yearbook. I was also singly responsible for developing curriculum in the areas of online publishing, newspaper publishing, yearbook publishing, commercial photography and journalism.
