Interactivity | XD and Storyline working together.
For storyboarding my 'go to tool' is Adobe XD. Typically, I get my basic design and sequence for a module going and then I switch into Storyline or, if needed, a presentation software like Google Slides or Powerpoint. Ultimately, the SCORM package or the published presentation is incorporated into Moodle or the preferred LMS.
This is a basic module over how to answer branding questions and other fun stumbling blocks for student workers like answering the phone. The layout was made in XD and will be imported to Articulate.
The biggest part is getting the template accessible and up to brand standard. Then, I lay out the main course modules in XD. After that, it is a matter of adding the elements and making sure to follow basic design principles in the Storyline package.
On this template, we will be using the logo at the top left as the standard logo and will incorporate small chunks of direction using the OSCQR Rubric as a guide.

Students need constant feedback during the quiz sections of any Learning Module. This is an irreverent slide that tries to capture the fun of learning brand standards and things like how to answer the phone in a fun way.

This interactive design can be used in multiple ways and is a quick way to incorporate the brand and theme into a fun slide. I like to use some of the same elements throughout so that students feel a sense of consistency (but not boredom).
